HAZARD | 2011

Hazard is a state of being. The accidental state of being inside the wrong landscape. Hazard is a product of twisted imagination. An ambiguous terminal with non the less some horizon. A construction.

Welcome for a promenade !

... Hazard appeared for the first time in the frame of Changing Tents <<< / Burning Ice Festival in 2011 in front of the Kaaitheatre in Brussels : the landscape was installed as a bill-board in the style of a construction site info-panel. The changing image was a iconic landscape in orange and black, referring to the symbolic warning signs which figure on the packaging of environmental hazardous products. Over the 7 days, this landscape was open for contamination from the outside : both the image and the announcements on the board were chainging on a dayly basis.

In the same year Hazard was to see as a fresco in the Brussels MAAC Maison D'Art Actuel des Charteux as part of a group exhibition.

Currently - and again as a construction site panel - Hazard is to find on an abandoned site in Laeken / Brussels, Rue Delva.
