SPINNING PLOT 

a one week camp

We invite you to participate in our workshop SPINNING PLOT and settle with us on the Tondelier site (Rabot, Ghent) for one week. Our workshop is based in the context of the street opera PLOT, organised by the artist collective PILOOT, on the 18th of September. 

Throughout the week, we will fill a participatory program, expand the invitation to others to join our practice, and experiment with mixing and feeding the present elements of the fiction together. We will learn about real estate and related artistic projects and form satellite perspectives. Eventually, we will create scenes for the opera PLOT.

Nous vous invitons à participer au workshop SPINNING PLOT et à vous installer avec nous sur le site du Tondelier (Rabot, Gand) pendant une semaine. Ce workshop s'inscrit dans le contexte de l'opéra de rue PLOT organisé par le collectif d'artistes PILOOT, le 18 septembre. 

Tout au long de la semaine, nous co-organiserons un programme participatif, élargirons l'invitation aux autres pour se joindre à nos pratiques, et expérimenterons ensemble autour des éléments réels et fictionnels, immobiliers et artistiques de Tondelier. À partir d’eux, nous formerons des perspectives satellites et créerons des scènes pour l'opéra PLOT.

We nodigen de groep deelnemers uit, zich een week lang te vestigen op het perceel van de Tondeliersite aan het Rabot in Gent. Daar, hebben we de intentie deel te nemen aan de straatopera PLOT. Dit participatieve project van kunstenaarscollectief PILOOT zullen zij op18 september opvoeren. 

Door de relatie tussen een vastgoedproject en artistieke praktijken op de site te leren kennen vanuit een satellietperspectief, willen we nieuwe scènes creëren in deze context. Gedurende deze week zullen we samen een programma opbouwen waarin we anderen uitnodigen en experimenteren met het herschikken en voeden van een bestaand verhaal.
